Ken C. Widdel, Senior Vice President Being raised in Perrysburg, Ken graduated from Perrysburg High School in 1974 and Bowling Green State University in 1978 with a bachelor's degree in Business Education. Ken has been in the financial services business since 1976, when he received his Life and Health license while attending BGSU. Ken later obtained his Series 6 securities license. In high school, Ken was involved in many sports. Ken was named All-Ohio in baseball in 1974. Ken went on to play baseball at Bowling Green State University from 1975-1978. Ken started his career with Lutheran Mutual Life/Century Companies of America in June 1978 thru November 1990. In December 1990, Ken joined Savage and Associates and was there for 9 years. In 1999, Ken joined New England Financial as a managing associate, in charge of recruiting and training, while still maintaining his private practice. After 5 years with New England Financial, Ken joined 3 other partners in forming Creative Financial Partners in Perrysburg, Ohio. The idea of starting an independent firm, with the option of writing business with several different companies, is what helped start the Perrysburg firm in 2005. Creative Financial Partners offers a complete array of financial, insurance and planning products and services. Ken has been very active in his community. Not only has he been involved in his church, Zoar Lutheran, as a past church council member, in his community as President of the Perrysburg Area Chamber of Commerce in 1990 and 1998, but also a four year member of the Perrysburg School Board from 2001 thru 2005. You may also see Ken involved in a variety of athletic events around town as he is a member of the Athletic Boosters and has been a coach for youth softball and soccer. In 2009 Ken and his family provided the financial support to install synthetic turf at Perrysburg High School's outdoor athletic facility. Widdel Feild is used for football, girls and boys soccer, marching band, lacross and for other activities and playoff contests. Ken enjoys his family, his wife Debbie, and three children, Jamie, Kelly and Kerry along with his granddaughters Kaelynn and Brooklynn. Ken's financial focuses include: |
